Spuds and Onions

Yesterday evening we pulled another couple of Lady ChristL potatoes - 1.25kg There are lots of little tiny potatoes which could do with growing for a bit longer but we're trying to make  room for leeks and there'll be plenty more spuds for the next couple of months.
White Lisbon spring onions
As you can see, our White Lisbon spring onions (sowed 16th April) are almost ready to start picking. They just need a bit more rain to thicken up a bit.

One of the chard plants had gone to seed - it was one on the end so probably hadn't got as much water as plants in the middle. I pulled it out as there are plenty more where that came from - and Jamie won't eat the stuff anyway!
